Almost one year ago we released our Jāņi album "Īsākās nakts dziesmas." We look forward to the approaching short summer solstice period as an opportunity to play these songs again. That is why for the very first time in our long history we will perform at public events in Rīga on Jāņi. Two of the locations are significant to us. Dzegužkalns is near Iļģuciema Cultural Hall where we first got together. The Ethnographic Open Air Museum (Brīvdabas muzejs) is where we decided to take the name "Iļģi."
